I'm so totally focused on my med exams that I didn't realize it's soooo summmer now. I see people on the beach from my windows, having fun and getting tanned. Me, I have to wait one more week. Meanwhile I was looking for an appropriate soundtrack. To make my summer begin...


This work came out just a month ago. When I heard it I decided it could be my new fav for sunset hour on my terrace. I love this album. It's extremely cool, and full of different nuances, perfect for summer nights and for smiles. And, it's free. First of the list.

Could you imagine something more "summery" than Hawaii? Beach, surf, waves, flip flops, bbqs, reaggae and pop. Nice and fresh. Like a mojito under a palm shadow.


In this case, there's no summer in title or band name. Summer is one of the tags and is in the mood of this album. For hip hop lovers certainly a nice finding. Kind of Philadelphia sound, even if it's from Seattle. There's something warm and slow that makes this music perfect for summer afternoons and evenings. Or, for people like me, for eternal study sessions.
