I surfed, and digged, and searched. But it's not been easy to come out with trumpets that really took my attention or made me want to add the tracks on my playlist.
Here's what I liked best:
Very good idea giving voice to some underestimated names of jazz, particularly trumpet jazz. And very good sound. Definetly on the playlist.

Queensborough Bridge Stomp.
From France an original acoustic ensemble: vocals, violin, cello, bass, trumpet and drums. Not exactly easy listening, but fascinating.
High quality jazz, between Brooklyn and Toronto. With trumpet and fatherhood feelings in first line.
